Wire-Cut EDM
US Alloy has over 22 years experience in Wire-Cut EDM (Electronic Discharge
Machine). We use a Mitsubishi EDM machine capable of sizes up to 6-1/2" in
height x 10" x 12" flat.
This useful machine is capable of holding
tolerances to 0.0002" and can cut any type of conductive material.
Wire EDM
is very useful in cutting special shapes and forms in parts where
conventional machines cannot do. Water Jet and Laser cutting machines,
though faster, cannot hold the close tolerances of Wire EDM. |
